"Rien n'a changé. Oscar Temaru way ahead in Elections Polls with Generation Y (between 18 and 35 years old) says Papapenu Editor of the premier E-magazine in Polynesia. The death of autonomist illusion: The Union For Democracy has refused to participate in the "Day of Autonomy". The "Day of autonomy" shows us that the Tahoeraa has not changed. Members of this political group are trying to win voters with a demonstration funded by public money on a false pretext. This "festival" also has the merit of restoring light of evidence that many still refuse to admit. Yet the facts are known, they are part of our history. It is of course welcomed that, barely out of their indigenous status after World War II, Polynesians have obtained a first autonomous status under the leadership of a man of conviction. A government and ministers who, since 1957, had been responsible for conducting the affairs of fenua. French Polynesia succeeded hence the French establishments of Oceania....
